Food For Thought

Donkey and Lion wanted to give back to our community this February. With increasing prices in grocery stores, feeding the ones we love has become challenging. For some, rolling up to the till means putting back a few items while for others heading to the local food bank is the best choice.

One of Donkey and Lion's languages of love is cooking and feeding the people close to our hearts. Though we lack the ability to do that at a large scale we sure know that The Alex Community Food Centre can. Not only do they provide meals twice a week, they also host affordable food markets, programs to help learn how to grow and cook your own produce, and create a place where a community can flourish, regardless of what you can purchase at the till.
